• Submitted orders are considered as offers to purchase and acceptance of the offer does not take place until the customer's credit card has been charged and the order has been shipped.
• The bookstore is not responsible for incorrect links or pricing errors on our site. In the event of an incorrect price, the customer will be contacted of the error before any action is taken.
• In some instances, items ordered may no longer be available. If items ordered are not in stock, the bookstore will process the items which are available and cancel the remaining items.

Web Order Refunds and Returns

• Merchandise purchased through this website can be returned for refund or exchange (see bookstore refunds and buyback policies below for information on returning textbooks).
• Merchandise must be in new and saleable condition.
• Only the cost of the merchandise will be refunded, any shipping costs will not be refunded unless the return is due to an error from the bookstore.

Bookstore Refunds and Buyback Policies

• Save Your Receipt:
  The UH Bookstore will not refund merchandise without a receipt. Books may only be returned within seven days of purchase.
  Exceptions: All sales final on computers and software, newspapers, magazines, Cliff Notes, sale books, and catalogs.

• Do Not Mark Books:
  Do not mark new books until you are sure that you will keep them, or a full refund will not be given. Soiled, marked, or damaged books will be refunded at the used book price (25% off the current new book price).

• Textbooks May Be Returned for Refund:

• Fall & Spring - Within three weeks after the first day of the term.
• Summer - Within one week after the 1st day of the term.
• Outreach College Courses, Help, Nice, Non-Credit, Accelerated Courses, etc. - Within one week after the 1st day of instruction.
• There are no refunds for textbooks for Outreach College courses that are held only for one day.
